We use your ZIP code's actual electricity rate, local sun hours, and your state's net-metering rules — not one blended U.S. number. A final installer quote can still shift a little once someone looks at your roof condition and shading, but you'll be starting from a realistic figure, not a marketing one.

All three work the same way and run on the same calculation engine. You enter a couple of basics — your ZIP code and monthly bill for solar, your household usage for battery sizing, your car and driving habits for EV. We combine that with your local rate, sun hours, and net-metering rules and show you the full math: what it costs, what it saves, and how long it takes to pay off.
